Have you been thinking about leaving the company you have been working for?

Have you been wanting to make the change in your career but not quite sure of your decision?

Are you having mixed emotions about changing your career / job because of family obligations?

Are you looking for a new horizon, a fresh new start, a new journey in your career?

Do you feel based on your age it may be difficult to switch career/ job?

If you have been pondering about any of the above scenarios I have 5 powerful tips to help you make the right choice.

Tip #1 : Begin with a professionally prepared resume. A resume that sells your skills even before you meet your prospective employer. This is the first step in a career/ job change and is worth having it done professionally. This is your primary opportunity in making a mark in the job market.

Tip# 2 : Allow yourself time to reflect on all your skills, experience, create a plan with an open mind. Think outside the box, do not argue for your limitations. Reflect back on how you are making a difference in the current organization. Be confident and open in expanding your skills and experience in your new career/job.Think big, be mindful of your financial obligations but

do not let this hold you back.

Tip#3: Begin networking with the organizations which you wish to be working for. If you know someone in the organization I recommend meeting with that person for coffee and get to know the culture and vision of the company. If on the other hand you do not know anyone, read about the company online and learn about its vision, values and mission statements. This is a excellent strategy as it gives you more insight on the organization along with its strengths and you will have a seamless conversation during the interview process.

Tip # 4 : Keep a positive outlook on your new vision, have an open mind, trust yourself , be confident, make sure you are feeling good about your decision.Be in a very feeling place as your enegry will attract exactly what you put out there. ''If you can dream it .You can do it''. ( Quote by Walt Disney)

Tip #5 : Now you have everything you need, a professionally prepared resume, your experience ,

skill sets ,a positive mind frame, time line , you know which organizations you would like to be employed with. Start applying for the job postings. Keep a record of all jobs which are applying for and continue to be the best performer in your current position.

If this resonates with you and you are looking for one on one coaching please feel free to reach out to me as I would love to help you achieve your dream.

Good Luck from
